RTH 379 - Advanced Assistance Dog Training II |
Knowledge of advanced theories of disability and behaviors that influence placement and use of assistance dogs. Students will engage in practical and hands-on experience in the advanced training of assistance dogs; and the training of a assistance dog to work specifically with a potential assistance dog recipient. Students will be responsible for the 24/7 care. Requires participation outside of scheduled class time and UNCW liability insurance.
