COM 439 - Integrated Marketing Communication Practicum: Pier601 |
This course is an applied learning experience in a student-run integrated marketing communication (IMC) firm, serving campus groups, non-profit organizations, and small businesses. Students will research, plan, create and execute IMC and media production projects working with clients and faculty. Students will also be resonsible for promoting Pier601 Creative brand and identifying new clients. This course emphasizes collaboration, responsibility, cross-functional teams, professional and ethical standards and norms, and intention to reflection on this experience as it relates to other coursework in the major. Up to 9 credits may be taken and counted toward graduation; 3 of those credits may count toward the major.
