CHM 512 - Structure Elucidation
Modern approaches to structure elucidation of organic compounds with a focus on Mass Spectrometry and Nuclear Magnetic Resonance. Includes fundamentals of both techniques but directed primarily on solution of real-world molecular characterization problems. Special discussion topics include biomolecular structure elucidation, metabolomics, and alternate structure identification techniques (IR, SCXRD, MicroED, AFM).Introduction to advanced structural elucidation techniques using advanced mass spectrometry and NMR.
