BIO 456 - Ornithology
An introduction to avian biology with an emphasis on the evolution, classification, physiology, ecology, natural history, and conservation of birds. Laboratory focuses on avian anatomy and field identification of North Carolina birds with field trips to local areas. The class may include weekend camping trips or visits to field stations in North Carolina. Three lecture and three laboratory hours each week.
