Examination of problems, issues, and practices in developing effective programs for students with social/behavioral needs. Emphasis on social, emotional and behavioral needs including major interventions, family involvement, social skills, applied behavior analysis, cognitive/behavioral approaches, medication issues, legal considerations, and curricular strategies. At least 25 field experience hours required.
