All students are expected to attend and participate in person at the assigned day/time. (F2F) Pre- or co-requisite: FST 201 Students will trace the history and theory of new media and examine how it intervenes with representation in this class, exploring and evaluating the impact of contemporary moving image media from social media to streaming platforms. This course will focus on different forms of representation, including but not limited to race, ethnicity, class, gender, and sexual orientation.
