This course introduces students to the basic elements of screenwriting format, technique and narrative style. Students will write multiple drafts of a short (8–12 pages) screenplay. Weekly writing assignments will help students address various narrative elements (character, structure, format, transitions, scenes, dialogue, etc.) and aid in the development of their script.
