CLR 501 - Clinical Research Monitoring and Ethics
Historical perspectives of clinical research ethics are explored as well as ethical challenges inherent in study design, risk-benefit assessment, participant selection and special populations in clinical research. The course provides an overview of ethical monitoring practices as well as questionable data and behavior in the clinical trial process. Current ethical challenges and trends in the global clinical research industry will also be explored and examined in context with standard industry ethical guidelines and regulations.
