Introduction to the fundamental concepts behind offshore energy and resource management. Examination of a range of marine resources, including offshore oil and gas; wave, wind and tidal energy; and marine minerals. Discussion of the historical evolution, technological developments, challenges and potential impacts of each offshore resource.
