CHM 517 - Medicinal Chemistry |
Prerequisite: Two semesters of organic chemistry. Study of the various principles involved in, and the multidisciplinary nature of, modern drug design. The course focuses on the chemical and biological principles that are fundamental to "medicinal chemistry" and upon the understanding of how and why certain chemicals interact at biological targets.
