RTH 368 - Foundations of Recreation Therapy |
This course will provide students with an understanding of the foundational elements key to the provision of quality recreation therapy services and overall recreation therapy service delivery. The followin concepts will be explored in-depth: scope of service; service delivery models; social psychology theories; theories of play, recreation and leisure; therapeutic alliance; cultural competency; strengths-approach, and ethics.
