PBH 401 - Foundations of Environmental Health
Overview of assessment, control, prevention, and safety of human health from environmental and occupational risk factors. Topics include pollution wastes, toxic metals, pesticides, radiation, vector borne diseases, and occupational injuries and stressors. Emphasizing deleterious effects of industrialization on developing countries, effects of globalization, and the rise of the environmental justice movement.
