EDN 320 - Diverse Learners
This course addresses meeting the needs of diverse learners in middle level classrooms (6-9). It is divided into three modules examining different aspects of diversity: differentiating instruction to address students' learning styles and intelligences; understanding characteristics of and adapting instruction to meet the needs of special learners; and working with English language learners and their cultural contexts. Each module includes sections on assessing learner needs and adapting instruction to meet these needs. Field experiences required.
