CHM 587 - Nano and Supramolecular Chemistry
Nano and Supramolecular Chemistry will cover concepts and applications of nanochemistry and supramolecular chemistry. Special emphasis will be placed on how to design, synthesize and build up nanostructures from the molecular scale to nanoscale. The topics include nano particles of different shapes and compositions, Graphen and Graphene oxides, mesoporous nanoparticles and zeolites and the applications of the nanomaterials. The core concepts of supramolecular chemistry such as host-guest chemistry and self-assembly will also be reviewed.
