BIO 438 - Epidemiology |
Introduction to the basic concepts of epidemiology and biostatistics as applied to public health problems. Emphasis is placed on summaries and displays of data, statistical approaches that descripbe the health of populations, analytic study designs for investigating associations between risk factors and disease outcomes and criteria for causal inference. Three lecture hours each week.
