SCM 376 - Transportation Management
This course develops an understanding of the strategic role of freight transportation systems in supply chain networks. Emphasis is given to the components of transportation systems, including their technological features, operational processes, and cost conditions, the buyer-seller channels for acquiring transportation services, and the strategic and tactical alternatives for transport procurement.
