IDS 300 - Introduction to Interdisciplinary Studies |
This seminar course serves as a gateway for the UNCW Interdisciplinary Degree. Through writing and engagement with a core set of texts, students learn about different approaches to interdisciplinary studies and interdisciplinary research, as well as its applications for personal assessment and career development. Through research, a presentation, and a final project, students will reflect on their academic experiences and articulate a personal pathway through the Interdisciplinary Studies program. By the end of the course they will have established an interdisciplinary studies eportfolio that they will complete in IDS 400.
