NSG 409 - Clinical Nursing VIII: Capstone, Transition to Professional Practice
This end of program capstone focuses on integrating concepts, principles, knowledge, and theories from nursing, other disciplines, and the arts and sciences. The course is designed to foster an intense one to one learning experience between the student and an experienced preceptor while under the guidance of the UNCW SON clinical faculty. This relationship is designed to facilitate the transition to the professional practice setting, to enhance the development and demonstration of sound clinical judgement, and to promote confidence functioning as a generalist professional nurse.
