NSG 401 - Pediatric Nursing |
Introduces the core concepts of nursing essential to the role of the professional nurse caring for children and their families. Course content includes strategies for improving the child's health status based on diverse needs dictated by the environment and the professional values of client-centered care, life-long learning, and quality improvement. Application of essential psychomotor skills is demonstrated in experiences working with children in culturally diverse clinical agencies.
