RTH 393 - Functional Fitness in Recreation Therapy
This course introduces students to community-based recreation therapy programming for individuals with disabilities residing in group homes or attending day treatment programs. Students will have an opportunity to plan and facilitate evidence-based interventions for the purpose of increasing participants' physical fitness and quality of life. Students will be exposed to program evaluation utilizing a systematic research process. Medical liability insurance fee.
