A study of the security issues in a distributed computing environment and the impact of electronic commerce on the production and dissemination of financial information, security problems and solutions for UNIX and Windows NT operating systems are studied. Addresses risks faced by firms engaging in e-commerce, as well as, procedures for managing those risks.
