NSG 322 - Issues, Trends and Health Policy in Nursing |
This course is designed to provide students as present and future leaders with a political, economic, and financial understanding of nursing's role in the health care system. Students learn professional values and ethical behaviors that guide nursing practice and the impact of research used to improve the care of individuals, families, groups and communities. In addition, fundamentals of health policy creation are introduced to facilitate the merging of the policy and financial side with the clinical dimension.
