FIN 438 - Financial Statement Analysis |
This course focuses on the analysis of financial statements. Topics covered include credit analysis, profitability analysis, revenue recognition, asset recognition, liability recognition and equity recognition. Specific attention is given to where managers have flexibility in accounting standards and how this might impact the analysis of the firm. Students are required to synthesize material from lecture to the analysis of real companies.
