NSG 407 - Leadership & Management in Nursing for the Professional Nurse
This course is intended for those students enrolled in the Prelicensure program. Introduces the core concepts of leadership and management for the professional nurse. Course content includes discussion of theories of management and leadership; health systems organization; change, power, authority; role development; models of nursing care delivery; legal ramifications of delegation; models of quality management; nursing and the political process.
