BIO 240 - Human Anatomy and Physiology I |
Prerequisite: BIO 201 and CHM 101; prerequisite or corequisite BIOL 240. Lecture must be taken concurrent with BIOL 240. An introduction to the human organism with particular emphasis on maintenance of an internal steady state. Tissues, musculoskeletal, nervous, and endocrine systems are stressed. Three lecture hours each week. Partially satisfies University Studies IV: Building Competencies/Scientific Approaches to the Natural World.
